At the beginning of the 21st century the force began to move in the underground and during the winter anno 2002-2003 the first rehearsals took place out in the Swedish forests. With only Zyklon (guitar and vocals) and Count Stalinorgel (drums) there was no strenght in the force. But anno mundi 2005 widowreaper (guitar) joined and the force became the "Legions Of War". The first sign from Zyklon, widowreaper and count stalinorgel was the demo "proclamation of war"(2005), a honest and raw recording printed in the deep forests and with lack of technical modernity. The equipment which were used was an old analog portabel studio from the end of the eigthies.

In spring 2006 another warrior got drafted. He became the bassplayer for the band. With Hellwind the force became strong and completed. With new energy in the force the band recorded four new songs in the BBC-studios, a more modern studio, and "J" from Reaktor 4 was responsible for the recording process. The demo ”In the snipers eye” recieved pretty good response from magazines and people around the earth. But the force were not allowed to rest so for the second time Legions of war entered the BBC studios. The third recording was entitled “Mission to kill” and content six new killer tracks. With very poor equipment a video also was put together of the new song “mission to kill”. Blackfrost from Ancient Death were in command of the videoproduction and did a good work. The new demo saw the light in spring 2008. During the summer the four warriors from Legions of war got signed to Inferno records. The force will now increase and rise the flag of Warmetal upon the earth. A fullenght album will be recorded. This new weapon will be titled "Towards death" and will be released in the near future.
